Isa's Second Birthday

I put off deciding what to do for Isabel's birthday a little too long, I really wasn't feeling a big party. But last minute we threw together a family pizza party and we all had a blast...especially the birthday girl! We had Bashes pizza's (our new fav.) Then Isa opened many awesome gifts all purchased and made with lots and thought and love. Then, after Rachel's prompt to "get the good part" we had  Cookies and Cream and Lucky Charm cupcakes and baby size cups of ice cream and sipped on Shirley Temples. Afterward everyone did their own thing... the 2 Grandmas chatted on the couch, I found my dad sitting on the floor in Isabel's room watching Elma teach Isa how to play her new guitar, we watched Johnny ream City Council on U tube, and a video of Matt's daughter sing a Taylor Swift song on his phone, Johnny and Daniel built her new bike while Isabel yelled "faster" from the sidelines. More Shirley Temples, another round of cupcakes, and then everyone gave Isabel kisses and went home, then she was off to bed with the promise that Grandma would still be there in the morning to play.
